Thames Water has gone out to tender with a contract for design services, building renovation and remedial works worth an estimated £46.6 million.
The water company is looking to award 1 or more framework agreements to suppliers capable of providing design services, building renovations and remedial works and supply of prefabricated cabins.

Due to the varying age of buildings and structures within the Thames Water estate, the utility needs to carry out renovation and remedial works in order to ensure that they remain fit for purpose. The framework agreement will cover remedial works to external and internal areas, structures, fabric, surfaces and finishes to properties within the estate.
Any agreement would be for an initial term of 3 years with options to extend up to a maximum duration of 8 years.
The contract is being tendered in separate Lots.
Lot 1 Design Works
Provision of design solutions for complex or structurally unstable roof repairs, boundary walls, cladding systems, building engineering services, general building and drainage, also undertake condition surveys for houses prior to repair on the waste network.
Lot 2 Project Delivery (Build)
Construction works including roofing, cladding services, building engineering services, general buildings and drainage, foundations, demolitions and asbestos removal.
Lot 3 Supply and Installations of Cabins
Supply and installation of pre-fabricated (temporary) modular structures and cabins across London and Thames Valley.
Any agreements will be awarded for an initial duration of 3 years, with options to extend up to a maximum of 8 years.
